Christmas or other holiday parties are all around us. While some, like the Ugly Christmas Sweater parties are silly, others you get dolled up and put on our fancy party dress. Putting your makeup together doesn't have to be expensive. Today I have a look for you that features only drugstore brands!
Start with a clean, moisturized face. You can then follow with your favourite face primer, however since I was going out for just a couple hours, I skipped the face primer. While I would normally apply my foundation (or in this case, BB cream) next, I saved this for after my mascara. You'll see why.
1 - Wet n' Wild Eye primer. This is my ultimate favourite primer, an absolute must.
2 - Maybelline The Nudes:
- All over
- Crease
- Outer V
- Tapped over lid to brighten
- Inner corner and brow bone
3 - Physicians Formula Sexy Booster Cat Eye Collection Liquid Eyeliner.
4 - Physicians Formula Eye Booster Instant Lash Extension Kit mascara. FANTASTIC mascara & extension duo, however the extensions create lots of fall out until set with a coat of mascara. Hence why face makeup was done after.
5 - Essence Make Me Brow. To get the most definition, use a brow brush to pick product off the spooly and apply as you would a cream product. Follow by with a quick stroke of the spooly to set everything in place and even things out if needed.
6 - Physicians Formula Super BB #InstaReady Beauty Balm BB Cream in Light. I often opt for BB creams since they're lighter.
7 - Physicians Formula Bronze Booster in Medium/Dark. This created a bit of a contour in the hollow of my cheeks.
8 - Physicians Formula Argan Wear Ultra-Nourishing Argan Oil Blush. To give that fresh look
9 - Revlon Photoready Insta-Fix Highlighting Stick. Apply to cheek bones, blend up towards temples to give your skin that subtle glow.
10 - Maybelline ColorBlur Cream Matte Pencil. Blended 35 (Plum) and 30 (Partner in Crimson) together.
11 - L'Oreal Infallible Pro-Spray & Set Makeup Extender Setting Spray. A couple sprays to make sure everything stays in place
You look INCREDIBLE! That lip colour is perfection on you!
