We all have our go-to makeup looks. Mine happens to be a winged liner using none other than my Kat Von D Tattoo liner. If you haven't read my post about this liner, it's my holy grail. It lasts all day like no other liner. However, I've recently discovered a pencil liner that's also been giving me all day results.
Meet the new Make Up For Ever Aqua XL. They may have come out a few months ago (I believe it was May), but I just discovered them while at GenBeauty Toronto and am in love. I had received two, and I've since bought two more.
Available in 20 different colours and finishes, including matte, shimmer, metallic, diamond and iridescent, these liners are da bomb! Whether you're going to a rock concert or an outdoor music festival, there's a colour for every mood and look.
The Aqua XL liners glide on your lids effortlessly. One stroke is all you need for amazing colour payoff. Black or lilac, they're super pigmented and have even lasted several hours on the waterline.

While the liners are waterproof, they're a little creamy when applied and give you a bit of time to smudge it or drag with a liner brush to wing it out a bit before it completely dries.
I tend to gravitate towards the matte colours for everyday wear, hence my collection only has mattes (for now!). M-80 is a beautiful deep plum, great for green eyes. For the days that you want something dark, but not black, M-60 is a leather-like brown and a great alternative. M-92 is a nice lilac, perfect for those summer festivals or a soft pop of colour. M-10 is a true deep black.
What convinced me, is the fact that once it's set, it's not moving anywhere. One of my biggest issues with pencil liners is that they always transfer into my crease (cursed hooded lids!) These have lasted me through the heat and haven't moved!
If you prefer pencil liners over liquid, or if you're like me and you just need a little variety and options, the Make Up For Ever Aqua XL eye pencils are a must have!
These look so pigmented! I love the light purple one. And your photography is so bright!
ReplyDeleteI just put up a post about new skincare I found from Sephora. I'm a little new at blogging but it would mean a lot if you would check mine out!
