It's the time of year when we have all these great, and sometimes awkward, holiday events with our colleagues, friends and family. Whether you wear a nice sweater and it's unexpectedly too warm or you wear a dress and you're suddenly sitting beside the guy you're crushing on, you want to avoid the embarrassing sweat marks.
Some people are lucky and seem to never sweat. Others are

Perspirex is a odorless antiperspirant that you apply at night and rinse off in the morning. After a few days of doing this, you only have to apply it once every few days.
This is a roller ball formula and while it does say that it's odorless, it smells strongly of alcohol. I got over that smell pretty quickly.
The first times you use it, you have to use it a couples consecutive days for it to work effectively. Apply at night to dry skin and at least 24hours after you've shaven. If you ignore the 24hrs rule, it will itch like mad. Only once did I have mild itchiness after the 24hrs wait period. After application, I usually keep my arms up for about 1 minute or so to make sure it dries.
When you get up in the morning, rinse/wash it off and you're good for the day. You don't need to apply any other anti-antiperspirant or deodorant.
I applied it every day for a week (shaved in the morning and skipping application that night) and tested out how long I could go without applying anything. I was good for a solid 3 days, on day 4, my armpits had a very mild smell (the normal kind) and clamminess, but not a full on sweat. So I stuck with application every 4 nights and I was perfectly sweat-free!
Reading some other reviews online, it appears that even those with hyperhidrosis get very similar results.
Perspirex can be purchased at Shoppers Drugmart, London Drugs, Jean Coutu and select Pharmasave, Rexall, Pharma Plus, Lawtons, Loblaws and IDA Guardian stores across Canada.
So this holiday season, don't sweat it! With Perspirex, you'll have no worries of embarrassing sweat stains when you mom tell's your new boyfriend that lovely story when you were 5, and no excuse to not go talk to that cute colleague. Just need to get over the nerves - but they don't need to know about that. ;)
