Review: Covergirl's Bombshell Volume Mascara

Mascara is a must have item in every woman's arsenal of tools. For many, if you had to rush out of the house, mascara would be applied quickly or stashed away in the purse to be applied later. It can often bring tired looking eyes back to life. It's not something we're taught, we just know how to do it.

With so many different options out there (volumizing, lengthening, waterproof, etc), we're constantly trying something new, hoping to find that one mascara that'll give us lashes like in the commercials (ladies, they were falsies, don't believe the commercials!)

Having tried multiple mascara's myself, I've learned that I don't really like waterproof mascaras, and with my lashes, I prefer volume over length. Bombshell Volume sounds promising.

I'll save you the time & money: Don't even bother looking at it. It's a two step mascara: one is a extreme volume basecoat, while the other is an intensifying top coat. I barely got any volume out of the first mascara. The second one didn't do much for "intensifying". It actually stunk. The minute I took the wand out, I smelled it. It's not a normal mascara smell. It's something weird. Like stale peanut oil or something.

When it came time to remove it, it was impossible. I used makeup remover for waterproof makeup and this was still giving me a hard time. And by hard, I mean I lost about 5 lashes on each eye before I got it all off.  Even then, I'm pretty sure I went to bed with a bit of mascara still on and was able to remove it the next morning (with more remover).

Crappy results with major difficulties removing, resulting in a minor loss of lashes. Save your money. DO NOT BUY THIS.
