Boxx Cosmetic's Melina has a new sister!

Back in June, I was delighted to attend a small event hosted by Boxx Cosmetics for the second year running. We got the chance to test out some of their products (the eyeshadow in Sakura will be mine one day!) and chat with the staff, along with the owner and founder, Sandra, about the makeup and what's new.

So, what exactly is new with Boxx Cosmetics? Well, for starters, they've come out with a couple pre-made kits that they call "Grab & Go Kits". Kits range from eyes, brows, lips, corrector, brush and most recently, full face. The full face kits were not out yet when I visited them, however the Vintage Vixen is screaming my name right now.

The other amazingly awesome new thing? The launch of illumalift. They took the best seller, Melina (you might remember the greatness of Melina from last year), and gave it super powers. Ok, it's not going to start fighting crime in your neighbourhood, but it is supposed to make your skin look younger in just 1 month's use. Look and texture is the same as the beloved Melina, however they have added active ingredients, including Palmitoyl-Oligopeptide and Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7, which are key ingredients in Matrixyl 3000. Matrixyl 3000 is a type of peptide, proven to help your skin's elasticity and collagen, which in turn helps your skin repair itself. In other words: It's an actual anti-aging product.

The company that owns the trademark Matrixyl (Sederma SAS) has done extensive research and their research shows that with the use of Matrixyl 3000 for two months, crow's feet lines diminish by nearly 33% !

Since we're all looking for that magical fountain of youth, this might just be one step closer!
